The Nubia Alpha Wrist Phone with it's flexible display is really pushing the boundaries of what a wearable can be, and although it's a pretty bad time to use now, it certainly has potential.

Much better review than from another big wig RU-clipr. I understand the positives and negatives, and agree that this might have a great future.

The watch is a cool idea, but it should stay in the works for now. I don't think we're near the level of technology (affordability wise at least) needed to make a fictional smartwatch like the alpha tries to imitate or accomplish. For now it seems like a waste of money. I'd suggest choosing another smartwatch. I have the Samsung Gear S3 Frontier, I've had it for 3 years now I think and it works great + the battery lasts for a week. Although, I don't use all of it's features, but I do use some. The most I use it for is to set reminders, news, weather, steps, calculator, timer, alarm, cheating on a one or two test *cough*, launch a notifications app, change music, tell time ofc, and for quick responses to messages. So I don't think I'll be needing a watch like the Alpha anytime soon, but like I said "cool idea" but keep it out of the public for now, it's a money steal.

I like how they put part of the display on the far side of your wrist where it's really hard to rotate to, but none on the underside of your wrist which you can easily turn to face you.

Tracking is such a bitch. No wonder we dont have good smartwatches yet. I dobt want all this tracking nonsense. All I want is the ability to call/ text. Tell time. And MAYBE maps and some sort of browser. I want to get rid of my phone and just have a watch with no more insta n shit

If the bezel could be smaller and to be pushed to the edges more and to get two different wrist versions to get a slightly shorter top portion of the display. Samsung!

I've always loved the sort of 'industrial punk' (i guess?) type sci fi/future/alien/whatever style (think 9th and 10th Doctor set design), and this feels like that type of tech but with a semi-contemporary take on it. In other words, it's that but slightly less bulk, no hardware keyboard, and significantly less grimy-looking

Wow.. This is a rough to follow review man... Why not tell us what those alerts were: were they errors or what..? What did you mean by 'of it stays paired for more than a few hours at a time..'? Can you give some indication of what you meant by 'buggy day'...? Can you talk about what phone you are using with it and the connection /pairing ease or difficulty? Can you discuss the app on the phone...? How many crashes and did you see a trend..? Wow man.. Sorry to nitpick but was looking for information and got very little...
