Neutron stars are one of the most extreme and violent things in the universe. Giant atomic nuclei, only a few kilometers in diameter but as massive as stars. And they owe their existence to the death of something majestic.

What are the chances we could exhaust smaller stars to the point of creating Kilonovas to create personal galaxies? Or maybe another planet that could sustain life? Plant it like tree lol?

What happens if you explode a Nuke on the moon

    • Ken Jackson
      Ken Jackson 2 days ago

Why do you ask? My first thought was that the dust would take a long time to settle. But then I realized with no atmosphere, it would fall to the surface as fast as anything falls there. So there would be a big explosion and then it would all settle right back down in a few minutes. But no humans would die and no buildings damaged.
