Two nights ago I was scared shitless as a progression of Starlink satellites spanned the "entire" ark of the night sky here in South Australia.
Not having any pre warning what unfolded above me looked more like some kind of superpower show of strength or alien invasion. Nothing else came to mind. They were almost as bright as Jupiter and divided the night sky like a zipper.
I was arguing with my friend that there were at least 50. He thought I was embellishing the number somewhat as he wasn't there for the whole experience. Turns out it was sixty!
