Well, the awards season is here and I have to say that Beyonce is a queen, but this song says nothing. No hate, but... Cliche lyrics with a presumptuous production to appeal to emotions in a forced way. "Beautiful Ghosts" is superior, a story told with beauty that makes you imagine every feeling that the character experiences and that moves deeply. I don't feel inspired when I listen to this song, but I feel sadness, hope, desolation when I listen "Beautiful Ghosts" (I hope to explain myself well, English is not my language).

Absolutely beautiful music video, but the song just doesn't feel 'lion king' to me. It broke the moment for me when watching the movie and now yet again I just feel like it misses the ever strong ethnic, rhytmic African vibe that could make this a less generic pop-song and more suitable to the movie setting (the video director, choreographer and outfit designer did get the memo somehow). But hey, there's an opinion ;)

Africa truly has some awe inspiring people and places. So amazing. The dancing in African countries is out of this world. Wish I knew more about my African ancestors. The original Lion King is incredible! I don’t think I can handle seeing Mufasa die again, but I have to see this one now. I can skip that part. The older I get, the more emotional I get about things like that. Beyonce looks just like her mom at 2:06.
