We use freezer for AMOLED only. Lcd moisture can get in between the lcd and backlight

Ben Safalow Hey! I just got my phone replaced in my local mall in one of those phone cases booths for $175. It's pretty expensive but a massive price drop. I would recommend trying to go around your local mall phone booths to get it replaced. I tried a few & some of the prices vary between $270 & $175.

Ben Safalow Oh, that sucks. I've been trying go find places to fix my phone. Tomorrow I'll be checking in for another phone repair stores to see if they have any reliable prices. Apple is really off the top w/ $329 for replacement, might as well buy a new phone.

I had my $40 android for over 4 years with no problems. Get an iPhone & the screen shattered within 2 weeks! What a rip off!

if you don't have a heat plate, can you use a heat gun instead?
@Milos Cvetkovic I had someone tell me to use dental floss to get the digitizer off the lcd screen but you have to use a heat gun some to soften it up. A hair dryer would work also if you don't want to use a heat gun but a little harder.

you can use contact cleaner or OCA chemical to remove the glue

The bezel looks so thin when the glass was removed, why did they have to make it so thick then?

Mr Phone Doctor No no no. I am saying that after the bezel is removed, it looks so thin. Why did Apple have to put such a large bezel around the border? I don’t see how the LCD is the reason that’s limiting them from making an as thin bezel as the iPhone X, XS and XS Max
Bezel is actually really thick. More difficult to remove than others

If so again how much and how do I go about getting phone to you?, also do I pay beforehand or afterwards, just want to know how to go about this, I am from western New York near Niagara Falls and buffalo ,...... I like your work and would love to give my business to somebody that is honest and fair. I received the phone used from my cousin and it-works 100% fine just few cracks in front glass, also I think he was going to repair or try him self but didn’t , and the camera glass is missing along with the bezel,??? The cameras are exposed due to glass and bezel missing but camera works fine . I know the phone is only like 4 months old, but like I said I thank god I got it before he tried opening it, lol.... anyway I would like for you to just get it back to the way it was new...... WELL AS CLOSE ANYWAY. Thanks again and I hope you can help me out ,it’s a beautiful phone would hate to have it just sit around and e forgotten !!

How do you prevent dust or lint from getting under the glass? I know you cleaned it but still it's gotta be perfect.
Mr Phone Doctor Thanks for the information! I have enough trouble getting screen protectors without dust under them haha.
Clean room and machine regularly. We also use a humudifier in our workstation to catch floating dust particles.
Is there a way to re reapply the glass without a laminating machine?

Hi Javier, I have a freezer machine -190 but I keep breaking screens . There is any trick to separating the screen? It seems very easy on the you tube videos but its not.
