The problem with this channel is the annoying click bait. He will say anything is a scam, rip off, expensive garbage but then 5 minutes in raves about how great every product is and how we should go an buy it. So when he does a video to warn us I'm sitting here confused like is he telling us to go buy it or not.

For 50 or 60 bucks more than that $200 10gbps Ethernet adapter costs, you can get a motherboard that has it built in. Plus, it can do other things... like be a computer.

You may not be saying it, but I will: don't go to these scam sites, it's not worth it. Pay more on a site that's not scamming you the first time. Otherwise you're going to lose money on the scam and then spend more on the legit site anyway.

I found out that Aliexpress has excellent customer service and warranty policy. I bought a number of huge posters from a bunch of different sellers, all were pretty cheap. One of them turned out to be quite pixelated. Looks really bad from up-close, stops being noticeable from about half a room away. I said it would be extremely difficult to ship back an item this big that costs €10 to buy, Aliexpress just asked me to provide them with pictures of the defect (which didn't even show just how bad it was in real life), and within a day issued a refund. So I got a free ugly poster!

  • Firedingo

Also be mindful of your local consumer law. In Australia for example that would qualify as an automatic refund for false or misleading advertising. No return shipping required.
