It didn’t hit Fernando’s arm in my opinion. When you jump in the air and attempt to hit the ball w your head your arm will go in to the your body to help your body gain balance as your head jolts toward the ball. You see the shorts crinkle when the ball is in contact w his body. These pundits need to find another job. They can’t give objective analysis. They seem arrogant and bias

    Commiting an Offside Offence
A player in an offside position is only penalised if, at the moment the ball touches or is played by one of his team, he is, in the opinion of the referee, involved in active play by:
    interfering with play
    interfering with an opponent
gaining an advantage by being in that position

The two goals of Son were offside!

City cheated in the last game against spurs with kyle walkers hand ball when will Tottenham actually be told we've done very well with what we have been through no stadium long ass delay with it! No money spent on players. key players being injured we have been playing with a second squad almost....

You guys no fuck all... the ball never hit his wrist and even if it did it’s still not handball, his arm isn’t in a unnatural position, it can’t get much closer to the centre of his body, so if it missed his wrist it would’ve hit his hip or his body

  • onepiece_quiz
    onepiece_quiz 4 months ago

Are they experts?? They dont even know the easiest football rules. If it hits the hand its not always disallowed! You cant cut your arm off. If there is no movement towards the ball and they are in a natural position its a regular goal.
Apart of that no matter from which angle you look, you cant say for sure if it brushes LLorentes elbow or not or if it brushes Laportes hands or not. These "experts" should start reading the actual rule book instead of hyping up each others bro scince.

Far out. Not only has the sport lost its way with rotten to the core corrupt bodies like the F.A., UEFA and FIFA overseeing the sport, while these cxxx clubs pay lip service to so-called fair play regulations, but now the 'independent' media are falling over themselves to lick their arxxs/anusxx. Pigmy brains and ethics aren't such strange bedfellows after all, when ESPN are in town, are they Mr. Burley? Lickspittle might be a term unfamiliar to you, but there again, often the thing that most defines us, eludes us. Like I'd say the Mendes Old Trafford 'goal' defines the abject (Sir) Ferguson, just as your gibberish here defines you.

The ball never hit llorente in the arm. Reality is it hit laporte because he put his hand around llorente and if it wasn't a goal it was a penalty for spurs

  • Nate Cruz

Liverpool is the favorite, at least for me to win the UCL and EPL. They are a more rounded team than Barca and even Man City. However, Barca and front line offensively when the go forward is very clinical and witty. This should be a cause and concern for them when they play each other.

NO MORE BAD CALLS! Here is the solution...
We have cameras everywhere and are slowly implementing the VAR. BUT WHY SLOWLY? Why even make the ref on the field the head official?
The best way to ref elite sports now is to have the main officials in the VIDEO REVIEW box. Only have the official on the field as a messenger!! That way, every single call can be monitored and called correctly. They would have the equipment available to view replays at slow motion from the best angle only seconds after they happen. Allowing play to continue only to message down to the field official when they know for certain to stop play and award a free kick/penalty etc.
    PROBLEM SOLVED.

  • John H
    John H 4 months ago

Handball is the most antiquated rule going. Make it simple. It can hit your hand anytime as long as you have your hands within your body area and as long as you make no obvious effort to play the ball with your hand. Players not being able to cover their face for free kicks and getting penalised for stupid stuff is daft.
If Llorentes arm wasn't there, the ball still hits his side and goes in. There's no justification to rule out that goal.

  • Judith Caldwell
    Judith Caldwell 4 months ago

Listen it shaved slightly on the elbow it did not then move to the hip it would have hit the hip anyway, no way was that hand ball follow the movement of the ball it doesn't deviate, a great game.
