This is good, I’m not a huge fan of how obviously you took the style and ascetics of local 58, BUT I do respect that you seem to be trying to do something different.

most do not know you dont stand a chance hijacking the OTA frequency as it is too powerful (kilowatts vs a few watts of a DIY homebrew transmitter. also everything now is digital), rather you would try and hijack the STL microwave (with ebay bought surplus microwave equipment) or PSTN line (using a line test phone and hard wiring into the pair at a service junction box between the studio and the transmitter site) that links the studio to the transmitter site. If you can do that you can use the main transmitter with its thousands of watts to push out whatever you wanted. same goes for OTA DTV, AM, and FM broadcast stations too. The microwave link is easier and has the lowest chance to get you caught because naturally you would be mobile in the STL fresnal zone and link path. The hardline PSTN method is more "perminate" and can be used with a circuit relay activates via cheap chinese ham radio and arduino with a DTMF decoder module and a small 5 voly relay. a small l 1.2 aHr SLA battery or a Li-Ion pack and solar panel built from old garden lights can provide the power.. You would then be able to remotely activate the relay to disconnect the studio and connect you up and deactivate it to resume normal operation.. Still this can be found fairly easy if the station techs are as smart as the think they are..

I wouldn’t mind these so much if they weren’t blatantly trying to be like local 58. Also the special broadcast screen was way too overdone.

This is a nice alterative to Local 58 since they don't seem to publish that much and Channel 7 ended.
The video has a nice creepy vibe to it The dial sounds, the EAS voice and the creepy text saying "For god sake do not go to the police they will kill you".
The video also has a nice 80's VHS like style to it Witch makes it more creepy! I hope to see more from this channel!

So, after a year, RU-clip finally recommends this to me.

Short version? Promising, but too short. Too clipped. The ambiguous situation is good. The 'THEY DON'T WANT YOU TO KNOW' is good, but you should have gotten some kind of information out before the interruption - something weird, something incongruous, the beginning for something. A seed. All we got was a fuzzy 'JFK', which... okay, they're killing people who know about the JFK assassination? Pretty classic conspiracy theory, nice, but it lacks teeth. The JFK angle has been taken on so often that it's hard to find a new way to work on it.

I'm not sure if you're going to read this, given the fact that it's been a year with no uploads, but I hope you do - because I want to see you take this and run with it.

Give us the dread. We need it.
