    This is how I make my buttercream also!!! But, I have also used Crisco Shortening from the can!!! You use the same amount as you would butter... You can also use half butter & half of the canned Crisco Shortening also!!! One thing about using Crisco in a can is, you do not have to refrigerate nor worry about the frosting spoiling while being left out unrefrigerated!!! Enjoy...

    I'm using this recipe for my first attempt at making crepes. I've only ever had them with sweet fillings, but they would probably be good with scrambled egg, salsa, avocado and diced raw onion and a bit of sour cream on top (dashes of hot sauce to be pretty.)

      you added too much milk. Just add more icing sugar and beat. Buttercream is extremely sweet because of all the sugar.

    Hi, l am going to make this for my daughters birthday, there will be about 30 children, l will have to take it to the school. My question is, can l prepare dough and keep it in the fridge over night? And would you be kind to tell me, how many slices do you get from one of these pie which you made?
